David has been with the company for over 35 years. He was part of the original development of quality management systems, starting with ISO 9000 through ISO/IEC Guide 25 to ISO/IEC 17025-2017 at QCSS. David has worked on all facets of QCSS, from the repair and calibration of hand instruments to the calibration and resurfacing of surface plates. He understands that QCSS needs to be and is a leader in dimensional metrology to meet our customers’ quality needs. David has a complete understanding of the use and practice of a wide array of instruments in the laboratory and manufacturing environment.
Kerry has over 40 years in the metrology and inspection fields. He has been with QCSS since 1990. Before that, Kerry has worked at Stewart Warner for 17 years as a calibration technician, inspector, and test laboratory technician. He has a complete understanding of the use and practice of a wide array of instruments both in the laboratory and manufacturing environment.
Rocky has been with QCSS since 1978, giving him over 40 years’ experience repairing precision instruments. He has a degree in Tool and Die design and worked at P.R. Mallory as a mechanical draftsman prior to QCSS. With his wealth of experience, he has seen it all in the repair of precision instruments.
Ellie is the ray of sunshine here at QCSS when you give us a call. She has been with the company for 15 years. Ellie claims that she is not technical but clerical. Still, don’t let her kid you, as she knows her way around the instruments that we sell and calibrate. For questions about our products and services, feel free to give her a call.

John has been with QCSS for two and a half years.
Quality Control Sales And Services Inc. (QCSS) in Greater Indiana began in 1960 when one man started Precision Instrument Service, a precision tool repair service. Keeping the business within his family, the founder sold the company to his niece and her husband in 1978.
In 1987, we purchased Quality Control Sales & Service, a dimensional metrology laboratory, and merged our two companies as QCSS. Since then, we have offered sales, repair, calibration, and certification of dimensional gauges, standards, and surface plates.
While continuing to grow, QCSS made a commitment in September 1998 to improve our company’s quality system by seeking registration to ISO 9002 within six months.
Our management team recommended this commitment to quality. The goal was immediately embraced and accomplished through the diligence of all 12 employees.
